We received an order from an overseas customer for a Tsujikura original brand umbrella “Kiwami” in blue.
Usually the top of the Bangasa umbrella has a black topping, however the customer asked by mail for it to be changed to red, and also said there was no need for a handle.
We sent the Bangasa as requested, and shortly afterwards the customer sent us this lovely photo.
The red top is a delightful accent to the blue Bangasa umbrella.
Our customer taught us a new way of enjoying Japanese umbrellas.
We hear they are enjoying a lovely teatime atmosphere under the gentle light of the blue Washi paper.
