Hand-painted Japanese parasol “Tensho-Ryu"
Hand-painted Japanese parasol “Tensho-Ryu"
This is a Japanese parasol with a rising dragon, hand-painted by a Japanese artist.
Since ancient times, dragons have been regarded as a good omen, and the image of a dragon ascending to the sky is a symbol of “leap forward,” “success,” and “happiness".
Kurotani Washi, the home of paper-making in Kyoto, is used for the Japanese paper.
The hand-painted dragon combines powerful brush strokes with beautiful details, giving the umbrella as a whole a powerful presence, as if it were alive.
The handle is made of a natural material, white bamboo, which is soft to the touch and has a beautiful texture.
The inside of the umbrella is decorated with colored threads and looks exceptionally beautiful when opened.
Each one is a gem handcrafted by artisans and painters, and no two are the same in the world.
This Japanese parasol is a fusion of traditional beauty and art, perfect as a special gift or a reward for yourself.
It is the perfect auspicious item to start the New Year.
By displaying this Japanese umbrella as a decorative item, you can wish your family good health, good fortune, and further development for the New Year.
Carefully crafted from Japanese paper and bamboo, Tsujikura's wagasa not only enhances the traditional beauty of Japan, but also adds a touch of glamour to your space.
