Osaka Nakanoshima Museum of Art
This spring, the Osaka Nakanoshima Museum of Art will host an exhibition of Shoen Uemura’s works.
Shoen was a Japanese painter who flourished in Kyoto during the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods, capturing the beauty of women with her delicate brushwork.
In her paintings, you can even find traditional Janome umbrellas, offering a glimpse into life at that time.
While we cannot confirm if the depicted umbrellas were made by our company, the possibility is not zero.
We invite you to view the exhibition from this unique perspective.
And for a closer look at authentic Japanese umbrellas, please visit Tsujikura.
Our staff looks forward to welcoming you!
