Collaboration with Snow Peak

Snow Peak is a brand of a comprehensive outdoor equipment manufacturer headquartered in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture.
We pioneered the world's first "auto camping" style and have established "a way of enjoying the outdoors by spending rich and luxurious time in nature."
In August 2020, the experiential facility "snow peak LAND STATION KYOTO ARASHIYAMA" opened in Arashiyama, Kyoto.

This 100-year-old traditional building was built as a ryokan (Japanese inn) during the Taisho era.
The spacious garden is home to the JYUBAKO, a lodging facility jointly developed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma and snow peak.
The store, which is a renovated historic house, sells Snow Peak camping equipment, apparel, and other items.
Limited edition items created in collaboration with Kyoto's traditional craft artisans are also available for sale.

Through Snow Peak's unique perspective, traditional Kyoto techniques have been combined to create a masterpiece that is truly Snow Peak.

Kyoto Japanese Umbrella Shop Tsujikura has produced the Japanese umbrellas that are also used in "JYUBAKO".
