Japanese umbrellas are mainly made from Japanese paper, bamboo, and wood, but the Japanese paper is coated with vegetable oil to make it waterproof and able to repel rain.

The sound of raindrops falling on the Japanese paper in the special space inside the Japanese umbrella.
The scent of oil applied to washi paper.

Why not sharpen your senses, put up a Japanese umbrella, and enjoy the rainy season?
