Black Bamboo Japanese Parasol "Flower Blooming" Yukiyanagi
[Flower blooming]
This is a Japanese parasol that "blooms towards the future."
As the name suggests, when you open the Japanese umbrella, the eye is caught by the adorable snow willow flower pattern that covers the entire inside.
Its appearance evokes the image of blooming.
The surface of the Japanese parasol is white, with a floral pattern on the inside.
This is a Japanese parasol with gentle colors that can be enjoyed from both sides.
The floral pattern on the inside of the umbrella makes a beautiful backdrop for photographs.
Perfect for celebrations or as a gift for someone who has helped you.
"En"
It takes many craftsmen to make a single Japanese umbrella, including making the framework, creating the parts called rokuro that connect the framework, and making the washi paper. Then, the craftsmen at Tsujikura finish it into a single Japanese umbrella.
Japanese umbrellas are made through the bonds between people, and these bonds are passed on to our customers and to the next generation. With this meaning in mind, Tsujikura named their Japanese umbrellas "En", which means "connection". We will continue to work hard every day to create Japanese umbrellas so that our bonds with people all over the world can grow.
[Hand-dyed Yuzen washi paper]
The whole base of the washi paper is dyed with "jizome" (ground dye), followed by "iro-sashi" (color insertion) using a mold. The color insertion is repeated for each color. Finally, it is dried with a hot plate and warm air to create a gorgeous hand-dyed yuzen washi paper.
