Mi_hanada（Indigo Dye）/ High Quality Bangasa

Bangasa is a Japanese umbrella with a simple, unadorned, and sturdy appearance.
We made a colorful parasol from this parasol.
The color “mihanada” is a blue color of indigo dye.
Because of its simplicity, the color of the Japanese paper is reflected in the color of the parasol, resulting in an unprecedented glossy parasol.
It is also suitable for men, for couples, and as a gift.

This umbrella makes best use of its material, which is strong and big-boned. It gives simple but chic image with bamboo and Washi paper. This Wagasa is used for the greeting and send-off at the Japanese-style inns and Japanese restaurants.
It is finished with lacquer painted on the closed umbrella bones.

A single black lacquer is used for this umbrella.
The bones have a gentle curve to separate the weight of the snow, which makes the closed umbrella look roundish.
This is a simple and minimalized high quality Bangasa.

How to Use the Wagasa
When you walk carrying the closed umbrella, please grasp the head of the Wagasa, or for Janome please grasp the cord on the head, and for Bangasa please hold the leather strings bound around the head.

How to Open the Wagasa
The Wagasa may be difficult to open due to the waterproof grease on the Washi. Please lightly grasp the bottom of the runner at the bottom inside the umbrella, and slowly and carefully push to the top to open the Wagasa.
