Everyday at the Workshop

Today, we are working on “Kizumi” (checking for damages).
Kizumi” is the process of final check of the finished wagasa before it is delivered to the customer.
We carefully check each piece to see if there are any cracks in the bamboo bone or tears in the washi paper.
Through this meticulous process, a Wagasa that will be loved for a long time is born.
Quality control is carried out with care by the eyes and hands of our craftsmen.
