Kyoto Gion Festival
The Kyoto Gion Festival is drawing to an end.
After the Yamaumakusa Procession on the 24th, the three mikoshi were returned to Yasaka Shrine.
The Gion Festival continues until July 31st.
At Tsujikura, we give out "chimaki" dumplings, which are a prayer for good health and protection from misfortune, to anyone who purchases a Japanese umbrella during the Gion Festival or participates in a mini Japanese umbrella experience class.
