Tsujikura’s Wagasa Featured on "ZIP!"
From March 11 (Tue) to March 14 (Fri), Tsujikura’s traditional wagasa craftsmanship was featured on the Japanese TV program "ZIP!" (Nippon TV).
Although only a small part of the over 100-step production process was shown, we hope viewers could appreciate the dedication of our skilled artisans.
Founded in 1690 (Genroku 3) in Kyoto, Tsujikura is the oldest wagasa shop in Japan, celebrating 335 years of history this year.
We will continue to share authentic, Japanese-made wagasa with the world.
